Performance Advisor - CashBack for Communities
After graduating with a BSc honours degree in Physiology from Glasgow University, Arran qualified as a Chartered Accountant, working for international business advisory firms Deloitte and Ernst & Young as well as a leading medium sized Chartered Accountancy firm, Saffery Champness. This latterly focussed on providing due diligence consultancy services to a variety of commercial transactions for corporate and private equity firms.
During an 18 year career Arran has been both a private investor and a portfolio manager for corporate and private clients, providing corporate finance, assurance, taxation and financial reporting services to commercial and charitable sectors.
Arran joined Inspiring Scotland in 2013 as a Performance Advisor with a desire to do more to tackle issues close to his heart. He brings a wealth of experience along with the skills to support organisations in supporting strategic and operational outcomes.
Arran has undertaken a range of pro bono activities for charities, is Treasurer of a large Scottish charity, and actively involved in a parent and carer support group for children with additional support needs. He has two delightful young children who ensure he is kept thoroughly busy with little time spare time to fall in to any mundane hobbies that could cause embarrassment.
