Cornerstone SDS provides an SDS Advisor in Aberdeen City & Moray Council. The SDS advisor in Aberdeen city provides an independent advice and support service along with support to option 1 employers. In Moray the SDS advisor delivers an independent advice and support service. Support includes 1:1 meetings with clients offering impartial advice on their rights to access SDS support if eligible; meeting with community groups to promote SDS; training and advice to social work staff on the delivery of SDS options; signposting people to social work services for assessment. Additionally, in Aberdeen City, initial and ongoing support is provided to individuals who choose option 1 to access the necessary services to enabling them to be safe employers, including insurance, payroll and recruitment.
