Part of Organised Outdoor Community Play Fund.
PLUS supports children and young people with disabilities and additional support needs, across the Forth Valley. They provide opportunities and support for children and young people to access social, community, leisure and recreational activities of their choosing, similar to those of their non-disabled peers. Pre Covid-19 this including accessing public facilities e.g. the park, swimming, and day trips.
Parents and carers benefit from a vital break while their child or children are at PLUS, which increases both their capacity and resilience to continue in their caring role.
The Outdoor Fund is helping PLUS achieve their vision to create an attractive and inviting outdoor environment that fully supports social, learning and recreational opportunities for the children and young adults who use our services.
