Support in the Right Direction

VOCAL and Lothian Centre for Inclusive Living.

This partnership between VOCAL and Lothian Centre for Inclusive Living (LCIL) supports carers and supported people at all stages of their social care journey in Edinburgh and Midlothian. VOCAL provides information and support to carers around preparing for assessments and reviews, managing care, informal advocacy to agree budget use and community brokerage to identify supports. LCIL supports carers and the cared for person to become employers, providing practical support and training to help them build their knowledge and confidence in this role.
