A message on COVID-19

We are living in uncertain and unprecedented times and we appreciate this will be a very challenging time for us all.

We are acutely aware of the impact COVID-19 may have on people and communities across Scotland. At times like this the role of charities and community groups is more vital than ever. I would like to reassure all of the people, charities and groups we work with that in the coming weeks we will continue to be here for you and your organisation, offering support however we can.

  • We are here to support you. To do this we are making full use of digital technology and all of our team are able to work remotely from the office.
  • We are here to listen to you. We understand that your focus of work and activities may change during this time, we will be as flexible as we can to support you and the needs of the people you support. We will be in touch with everyone we fund to discuss how your work may be affected.
  • Our finance team will make payments to you as per any agreed payment schedule and we will offer financial flexibility to help ensure your work can continue.
  • We are working closely with other funders and key stakeholders to ensure we can collectively support the third sector and the people you work with. This includes Scotland’s Funder Forum, SCVO and Scottish Government. If we have any news on emergency funding we will share this with you.
  • We are looking at other ways in which we and partners might be able to support you and your organisation throughout this period and we will respond as quickly as we can.
  • Please keep in touch with us, and we will keep in touch with you as we support each other in the coming weeks.

Warmest Wishes
