Kim completed a degree at Heriot Watt University, MA Accountancy and Business Law, before training and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in public practice. After achieving management level, Kim made a move into industry, heading up the finance team and playing a key part in the leadership team of an SME in Edinburgh.
A move into the third sector, where Kim can apply her financial knowledge whilst helping to make a positive impact for those living with disadvantages, has been a career-long ambition.
Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Kim loves to travel and has a newfound love of fitness, but nothing makes her happier than woodland walks with her third child, Bailey the Cockapoo.
