Inspiring Scotland is delighted to be partnering with the Association for Real Change (ARC) Scotland to hold events in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen to raise awareness and knowledge of the Principles of Good Transitions 3.
Principle of Good Transitions 3 provides a framework to inform, structure and encourage the continual improvement of support for young people with additional needs between the ages of 14 and 25 who are making the transition to young adult life. An autism-specific supplement to accompany the Principles has been produced by Autism Network Scotland.
The events will give attendees the opportunity to learn more about the Principles and how they can help provide a framework to evidence or structure their work. Autism Network Scotland will talk in more detail about the Principles and there will be case studies from charities who have used the Principles in practice. There will also be an overview of the new Independent Living Fund scheme. The scheme is aimed at making a lasting difference to the independent living of young disabled people and will help them be active, participate and contribute to their own communities.
To book your place, please follow the links below. Attendance is free but numbers are limited so booking is required. Organisations can book up to three places at each event.
