Support in the Right Direction
Carers of West Dunbartonshire raises awareness of self-directed support with carers, helping them to understand all available options and have their caring role understood. Carers are supported to identify their own personal outcomes to support a life alongside caring, helping to minimise any impact this may have on their health and wellbeing and take control of their life. Where carers are not eligible for a budget they are signposted to alternative supports.
