Support in the Right Direction

Carers of West Lothian

Carers of West Lothian provides information and support to unpaid carers and disabled people living in West Lothian who are accessing or considering social care and self-directed support, to promote choice and control over their care. This includes a dedicated self-directed support information service and support for people to understand the options available to them, prepare for a social care assessment, navigate the system and access community supports. The West Lothian SDS Forum, people with experience of using social care or helping others to access it, also contributes to this work by facilitating events and providing a platform for people to connect, share experiences and provide peer support.
