Dumfries YMCA is a non-profit charity focusing on youth development. Their vision is of an inclusive youth movement transforming communities so that all young people can belong, contribute and thrive.
Dumfries YMCA youth workers have been providing youth services to the area for 10 years. In 2019 the Association achieved the dream of taking ownership of a large vacant former school, move all of their services there and started creating a community hub specifically to support families, children and young people.
They actively look for opportunities to make a transformative impact on young lives in the communities where they work, and believe that every person is of equal value.
