Borders Direct Payment Agency (BDPA) (trading as Encompass) provides pre-assessment support to people in the Scottish Borders to explain the self-directed support options, local policies and eligibility criteria. They also facilitate a local self-directed support Forum, a consultation group led by social care users which raises issues and develops solutions with the local council relating to self-directed support.
