Support in the Right Direction
The Advocacy Project provides people and their carers with independent advocacy on self-directed support in Glasgow, helping them to make informed decisions. This includes support to understand the SDS process and the options available to them, participate in assessments and reviews, identify services, and raise concerns or challenge decisions they are unhappy with or believe are unfair.
More funding has been announced for the Scottish Government’s Autistic Adult Support Fund and is available to third sector organisations providing services to autistic adults – promoting wellbeing and helping them to understand what neurodivergence means for them.
