The Venchie Children and Young People’s Project

Part of Organised Outdoor Community Play Fund.

The Venchie Children and Young People’s project improves the lives of children and young people in Craigmillar, Edinburgh by using the power of play.

As one of the oldest adventure play organisations in Scotland the Venchie has been operating for nearly 60 years.

Each week they are open they support over 200 children. The project works with children and young people from baby through to S3. The Venchie runs PANDAS (breakfast club), After School Clubs, Holiday Clubs, Parent/Toddler Clubs and offer children a yearly residential.

Activities offered at clubs include arts and craft, sports activities, visits to local places of interest and making and eating snack together.
