Whitfield is a residential area situated in the North of Dundee that was built in 1960 to accommodate the expanding population. Housing mainly consisted of ‘low rise, deck access’ flats, however over the years it has experienced a lot of change with large areas of this housing and two high rise tower blocks demolished.
