Catriona is passionate about the role of collaboration, innovation and creativity in addressing social challenges. She combines her experience in public, private and third sector policy and practice in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
Before joining Inspiring Scotland, Catriona worked with Creative Carbon Scotland to develop knowledge, research, capacity and support for Scottish cultural organisations and festivals addressing the climate emergency. In particular, she focused on how charities and SMEs can adapt to the impacts of climate change in their region, and connect local communities with global policy.
She is a volunteer and trustee of 2050 Climate Group – a youth-led, volunteer-led charity which focuses on empowering young leaders to take climate action towards a just and sustainable society, currently running programmes in Scotland and Malawi. Helping to grow a young charity has made her an enthusiast of third sector governance and enabling change!
