Iain is very excited to harness the inspiring Scotland model to intensify and amplify the passion and innovation that exists in the third sector.
He brings 10 years’ experience in the third sector having worked in fundraising, communications, project management, operations and policy for Action Duchenne, a rare-disease charity – delivering world class research and care conferences, and ensuring patients have access to novel treatments and the best standards of care.
Iain spent three years in the private sector, later using his finance experience and law degree to advise clients at the Citizens Advice Bureau. He volunteers for Myeloma UK, a cause very close to his heart, helping inform their policy and advocacy work.
Iain now lives in Edinburgh with his wife and two young daughters. He loves cooking, music, film and sport (though is gradually falling out of love with Arsenal!).
