Jane Whitworth

Jane is driven by a desire to create lasting social impact and improve people’s lives. She is constantly inspired by the creativity and resourcefulness of the charities she works with and believes that those with lived experience are integral to the design, development and management of solutions.

Jane is Fund Manager for our Survivors Fund and brings experience in strategic planning, innovation and design thinking. Developing people and ideas are at the heart of her career which spans the third, public and private sectors.

She believes understanding what works and sharing learning is very important and is a Trustee of Evaluation Support Scotland.

Outside work you’ll likely find her in a pair of muddy trail shoes or curled up with a good book.

£3 Million Bright Start Breakfasts Fund Now Open

Today (14th May 2025) a new £3 million Bright Start Breakfasts Fund will open to applications.  The fund will expand access to breakfast clubs for primary school children by combining provision of healthy and nutritious breakfast food with before-school supervision or childcare enabling early drop off for parents to support them to work or study.
