Joyce joined the Inspiring Scotland board in 2021 and is the former Chief Executive of West Dunbartonshire Council.
Joyce is an accredited executive coach and mentor, and has developed leadership development programmes across public, private and voluntary sector. She has served on various Boards in a non-executive role including colleges and Improvement Service and since November 2020 is also a Board member of Youthlink Scotland.
Prior to joining West Dunbartonshire Council Joyce was Group General Manager for Corporate Services at Infratil Airports Europe. Joyce also worked for six years as Finance Director at leading European firm SCA Packaging, and previously developed her career at ICI where she held senior roles including Chief Accountant.
Joyce is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Fellow with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development.
Joyce is the previous Chair of SOLACE Scotland (Society of Local Authority Chief Executives) and is also involved in SOLACE in Business in a non-executive director role.
