Inspiring Scotland invites tenders to undertake a locality needs assessment for services responding to violence against women and girls.
Glasgow East Women’s Aid in Easterhouse recently ceased operating bringing to an end their domestic abuse service and delivery of community gender-based violence (GBV) services in the area. This leaves a gap in direct frontline service provision and prevention work in Glasgow
In response, a collective of funders would like to engage an independent expert to undertake a needs assessment from the perspective of services and service users. The findings will inform policymakers, funders, planners and service providers on the level of support required and what types of services are needed to ensure women, children and young people, have access to timely GBV services. This will support a collaborative approach to future funding of service priorities, ensuring that available funds are used effectively and avoid gaps in provision.
The output will be a report completed by early January 2025.
We anticipate the tender value to be up to £30,000, to include all fees, taxes including VAT, expenses, costs and incidentals, however, we welcome all well costed, fully itemised, innovative proposals.
You can access the tender document for full details here.
An information session will be held, online, on 10th July, please submit a note of interest if you wish to attend this session to the e-mail address below.
Tenders can be submitted via email to laura@inspiringscotland.org.uk
